Raunaq Yar Khan, the 9th Nizam of Hyderabad, organised traditional Sankranti celebrations promoting Hindu–Muslim unity. Festivities included rangoli, Bhogi campfire, folk dances, devotional songs, kite flying, and a grand feast, highlighting gratitude, brotherhood, and cultural harmony.

Apart from an attractive display of a range of handlooms and handicrafts in the National Mela, a variety of cultural programmes will also be held at the amphitheatre from 5.30 pm onwards

Presenting her Rangoli design before the virtual audience, Sunandha, a student said class-wise competitions always imbibe the spirit of teamwork.

Students also had fun flying kites.
