Telangana’s School Education department plans to revert government and local body school uniforms to the previous corporate-style design, restoring stripes and shoulder loops removed by the current government. Around 20 lakh students will receive uniforms, costing Rs. 130 crore

There are 2,48,837 students in all government schools in the district, of which 1,15,990 are boys and 1,32,857 are girls

The Collector asked the officials to take measures to make available uniforms before the commencement of the new academic year beginning on June 12.
