Sirpur (T) MLA Dr P Harish Babu said that the government cheated the farmers by allocating Rs 18,000 crore as against the outlay of the loans of Rs 65,000 crore in the state. He opined that it got rid of the loans by waiving loans belonging to a minor portion of farmers.
BJP Sirpur MLA P Harish Babu said if the State government could not take up development of Adilabad, the district should be allowed to merge with Maharashtra.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Harish Babu alleged that due to the incompetence of the Congress government, the local bodies in the State were suffering from lack of funds.
