After a two-week break following their Argentina Tour, the core group will assemble at the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Bengaluru on Sunday and will undergo mandatory quarantine.
Camp will take place at the Sports Authority of India campus and the core group will undergo a mandatory quarantine period before re-starting training as per SAI and Hockey India SOPs
"We have done everything possible to maintain and more recently get the players back to the level they will need to be to compete on the world stage," said Reid.
"He had been on leave for the Diwali break and and was in quarantine upon his return. As per SOPs established by SAI, he was tested on the sixth day after his return to the camp," A SAI statement read.
These types of results give a sense of satisfaction and happiness. It is an unique project where the athletes get support in their training,’’ said Gopichand.

The two-month training camp began from October 15 and is scheduled to run until December 14. The camp comprises of 32 shooters (18 men and 14 women), 8 coaches, 3 foreign coaches and two support staff.
With the sports activities making a slow start in India, the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) had been planning such a camp for quite some time and working it out with the Sports Authority of India (SAI).
The camp comprising 11 players (5 male, 6 female) and four support staff, will be organised by the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) at the Delhi Public School, Sonepat.
The camp had earlier been postponed twice because of the pandemic and is expected to feature 32 shooters, eight coaches, three foreign coaches and two support staff
