The Telangana Fire Services Department has cancelled the Fire No Objection Certificate of the building housing Niloufer Cafe in Banjara Hills after detecting serious fire safety violations during a surprise inspection.
Y Nagi Reddy said that the department had recently conducted inspection of about 3000 buildings and issued notices to the owners of a few buildings wherever flaws were found.
