Farmers in Polkampally near Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s native village of Kondareddypally protested over inadequate power supply. They alleged they were receiving only nine to 10 hours of electricity, affecting borewell irrigation, delaying farm work and threatening crops.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said the Electricity Department was ensuring uninterrupted power supply despite rising demand. He highlighted renewable energy initiatives, solar village projects and power infrastructure works in Khammam district during Telangana State Formation Day celebrations
