The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced extensive traffic restrictions, diversions and safety measures for New Year celebrations on December 31 night. Curbs will be enforced around Tank Bund and other key areas, with strict action against drunken driving and traffic violations.

There will be certain traffic restrictions at various parts of the city between 12 pm and 10 pm on July 6 in view of the Bibi-Ka-Alam procession

Traffic from Mitti-ka-Sher and Madina will not be allowed towards Etebar Chowk and will be diverted at Gulzar House towards Madina or Mitti-ka-Sher.

On Friday, traffic will either be stopped or diverted from 6 pm between Begumpet Airport and Jubilee Hills check post via Panjagutta

The rally will proceed from Saroornagar Indoor stadium to the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal

The Raj Bhavan road from Monappa Island (Rajiv Gandhi statue) to VV statue junction is expected to witness traffic congestion from 10 am to 1 pm
