Malkajgiri Traffic Police booked 1,093 cases during a special drive against triple riding and dangerous driving on May 27. Officials imposed fines worth Rs 13.09 lakh, with Begumpet recording the highest number of violations during the enforcement operation.
Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), AV Ranganath said all fines against traffic violations were in accordance with the G.O Ms. No 108, dated August 8, 2011, issued in erstwhile combined state of Andhra Pradesh.
