Tapping youth energy for nation-building

Thematic role play on food wastage, adulteration and ways to mitigate was enacted which made a positive contribution on children.

International Youth Day was celebrated on August 12 by the Senior Secondary segment of Delhi Public School, Nacharam, as the potential of youth and partners in today’s global society.

We conduct various leadership and skill-based activities to equip the outgoing batches to face the challenges in the world, the school said. After an edifying thought and new word, an informative video on ‘Innovative transformation in food technology’, encompassing various constituents in the field, was projected which caught the attention of the audience.

This year’s theme “Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health” was extensively elaborated through various activities including a quiz.

Thematic role play on food wastage, adulteration and ways to mitigate was enacted which made a positive contribution on children.

Principal Sunitha Rao congratulated children and advised them that it is pertinent for the youth to be aware and be educated which will pave the way to a dignified life. Senior vice-principal Nandita Sunkara gave the concluding remark.
