Telangana Horticulture Department launches training programme on urban farming

The programme has been launched to create awareness on growing goof quality, pesticide residue free vegetables

Hyderabad: Department of Horticulture as part of ‘Mana Illu Mana Kuragayalu’ initiative is conducting a training programme on urban farming to enable interested persons to learn cultivating vegetables in an urban setting with low area from 10 am to 1 pm on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Telangana Horticulture Training Institute, Red Hills.

The programme has been launched to create awareness on growing goof quality, pesticide residue free vegetables on terrace thereby promoting public health and reducing carbon emissions, the press release added.
