Telangana: Banned tobacco products seized in Mancherial
Task Force Inspector AK Mahender said the accused was Mohammad Saleem, a resident of Goseva mandal, Railway Under-Bridge Colony of Mancherial town.
Mancherial: Sleuths of Ramagundam Task Force seized banned tobacco products in a raid at the residence of a trader here on Wednesday. The value of the products is assessed to be Rs 1.30 lakh. The accused trader is absconding.
Task Force Inspector AK Mahender said the accused was Mohammad Saleem, a resident of Goseva mandal, Railway Under-Bridge Colony of Mancherial town.
Saleem allegedly stocked the products and the police, who got a tip off, raided the house. A case has been registered and investigations are on. A search was launched to nab the trader.
The task force team’s Sub-Inspector Lachanna, staffers Sampath, Omkar and Rakesh took part in the operation.
