Hyderabad: Seven out of ten districts who attended the Telangana Boxing Federation (TBF) held their annual general body at Masab Tank on Saturday urged the president to conduct immediate elections to the body. The election was long overdue, they felt.
The members requested Seshu to take initiative to set the house in order as lot of discrepancies were “committed by secretary P Ravinder.’’ They believed the secretary tarnished the image of the game in the state.
The AGM condoled the death of Veerswamy Mohammed Ali, Venkulu and coach Stevenson.
It was also decided the Sports Authority of Telangana State be approached to conduct all the selection trials in future till the Boxing Federation of India accorded affiliation to the next elected TBF body.
