Hyderabad: Cabinet Sub-Committee on Civil Supplies met here on Monday under the chairmanship of Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar to discuss various issues as per the instructions of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

During the meeting, the committee discussed different issues including those pertaining to issue of new ration cards, hike in dealer commission of fair price shops in the State, to fill vacancies of fair price dealers, increase in fair price shops in the State and inclusion of family members in existing ration cards.


It was decided that the committee will meet again shortly to prepare a comprehensive report based on recommendations of the committee, which will be submitted to the Chief Minister for a final decision.

Finance Minister T Harish Rao, Forest Minister A Indrakaran Reddy, Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and other senior officials participated in the meeting.
