Telangana Forest employees pitch in with donations to kin of deceased employees

Forest department employees pitched in with donations amounting to Rs.2.50 lakh.

Nirmal: Forest Minister A Indrakaran Reddy said the State government would extend all support and assistance to families of Forest department employees who succumbed to Covid 19 while discharging their duties.

The Minister offered tributes to employees who lost their lives to Covid-19 at District Forest Office, Nirmal on Thursday.

Five employees succumbed to the virus in Nirmal district. To extend support and financial assistance to the deceased employees’ families, Forest department employees pitched in with donations amounting to Rs.2.50 lakh. The Minister handed over Rs 50,000 to each family as financial assistance through employees’ donations.

Speaking on the occasion, Indrakaran Reddy complimented the Forest department employees for their gesture and coming to the rescue of their colleagues’ families through donations.

“All measures will be taken to ensure that Forest department employees do not face any inconvenience. Further, all assistance from government will be provided to the employees at the earliest,” he said.

Municipal Chairman G. Eshwar, Kawal Field Director Vinod Kumar and other Forest department officials were present on the occasion.
