Telangana govt appoints heads to 18 Corporations, constitutes Gram Panchayat Tribunal

The Telangana government has appointed chairpersons, vice-chairpersons, and members to 18 corporations, including community-based cooperative bodies and development agencies, and constituted the Telangana Gram Panchayat Tribunal.

Hyderabad: The State government on Wednesday appointed chairpersons, vice-chairpersons, and members to 18 corporations and also constituted the Telangana Gram Panchayat Tribunal. Separate orders to this effect were issued.

Under G.O.Rt.No.601, the government appointed the following chairpersons and vice-chairpersons: Baswaraju Srinivas (Chairman) and Ponnada Subrahmanya Prasad (Vice-Chairman) for Brahmin Samkshema Parishad; Dr Dasariraju Ajay Kumar and Bangaru Babu for Washerman Co-operative Corporation Limited; Motukuri Chandrashekar Goud and Kesam Nagaraju Goud for Toddy Tappers Co-operative Corporation Limited; Dongari Venkateshwarlu and Budagam Srinivas for Perika Co-operative Corporation Limited; Sanga Venkatarajam and M Laxmi Narayana for Mera Co-operative Corporation Limited.

Similarly, the government appointed the following chairpersons and vice-chairpersons: Gattu Thimmappa (Chairman) and Boya Nagesh (Vice-Chairman) for Valmiki Boya Co-operative Corporation Limited; Bomma Sriram and Allam Bhaskar for Munnurkapu Co-operative Corporation Limited; M Raghunath Yadav and Gajji Bhaskar Yadav for Yadava Co-operative Corporation Limited; Gunja Renuka Narayana and Batthula Venkatesh for Vaddera Co-operative Corporation Limited; Dudem Venkat Ramana and Jakkani Aneetha for Telangana Handloom Development Corporation Limited; and Bandi Ramesh and Paruchuri Murali for Kamma Corporation Limited.

In a separate order (G.O.Rt.No.600), Guduru Srinivas was appointed Chairman of Padmashali Co-operative Corporation Limited; Ch. Balraju for Telangana Bhattaraja Co-operative Societies Federation Limited; Juvvadi Narsing Rao for Velama Corporation Limited; Kolle Saritha for Telangana Sheep & Goat Development Co-operative Federation Limited (TGSGDCFL); Charan Koushik Yadav for Telangana Livestock Development Agency (TGLDA); and Prof. Venkata Narayana for Telangana Telugu Academy.

Meanwhile, Puvvala Durga Prasad has been appointed as Chairman of Stambhadri Urban Development Authority (SUDA) in Khammam.

Mohammed Khader Ali has been appointed as a non-official member and chairman of Khammam Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha. The government issued G.O.Rt.No.602, appointing Sudini Rami Reddy as Chairman of the Telangana Gram Panchayat Tribunal, with Krishna Kumar Naguluri and Boosa Venu Gopal Yadav named as members. The term of the Tribunal will be for two years.

The government stated that the detailed terms and conditions of these appointments will be issued separately.
