Hyderabad: The State government directed district collectors to resolve pending applications under GO 59 involving plots measuring up to 500 square yards within a month. The government issued Memo No. 48030, instructing collectors to process the applications in accordance with prescribed rules and prevent irregularities in the implementation of the scheme.
Cases in which conveyance deeds have already been issued will also be examined comprehensively. The government is seeking to fast-track the resolution of 10 to 12 categories of issues associated with Section 22-A. The latest directive is part of the government’s measures to address issues relating to lands placed under Section 22-A, which restricted the registration of specified properties. The government issued seven orders so far to address various issues linked to the provision.
Earlier, the government issued clarifications under GO 118 and GO 76 to facilitate the registration of houses, plots and flats included in the 22-A list but having approvals from the GHMC, HMDA, DTCP or municipal authorities. It also initiated steps to clear pending urban land ceiling applications and address the registration of patta lands for which the land-conversion process under the Non-Agricultural Lands Assessment (NALA) framework has not been completed.
