Hyderabad: From adopting students, making wake up calls, interacting with the parents on their child performance, holding special classes, counselling sessions to charting out level-based practice, the government and local body school teachers have a new task ahead of the SSC Public Examinations March 2025.

As per the School Education department’s new suggestive action plan for the improvement of Class X students performance, the teachers have been asked to adopt students besides making morning wake up calls to them.

They have also been asked to call up parents to discuss their ward’s study schedule and lapses, if any, in their preparation.

Asking teachers to complete syllabus by January 10 as per the academic year, the schools are directed to hold special classes morning and evening. During such classes, teachers have been asked to cater the first 20 minutes to explaining concepts of the topic of that day followed by 40 minutes of practice.

In each session, key concepts /three questions based on one or two academic standards are to be covered. Students have been encouraged to read the lesson and write answers besides practicing questions from ‘Abhyasa Deepika’ for better performance.

Since the syllabus is completed in regular periods, teachers are asked to allot one day to explain a lesson/topic followed by a test on the next day. Further, teachers are asked to analyse question papers besides instructing students on how to write answers for those questions with special focus on legible handwriting.

Asking to identify the learning level of students, teachers have been told to take up necessary interventions to obtain fruitful results. For students who are struggling to get through the exam, the department told teachers to give personal attention to them and ensure they practice key concepts of those subjects.

A timetable for pre-final exams, scheduled in February/March 2025, will be released in the month of February.
