Telangana High Court Bar association condemns murder of advocate, to boycott court duties
Lawyers request not to attend court duties on Tuesday, make plea to Acting Chief Justice to refrain from issuing any adverse orders against those who abstain
Hyderabad: The High Court Bar Association has strongly condemned the brutal murder of advocate Errabapu Esrayal by opposing parties and has announced a boycott of court duties on Tuesday as a mark of protest.
The decision was made during a general body meeting of the association on Monday.
The association has also brought the matter to the attention of Acting Chief Justice Sujoy Paul.
Lawyers have been requested not to attend court duties on Tuesday and a plea has been made to the Acting Chief Justice to refrain from issuing any adverse orders against those who abstain.
However, the High Court Bar Association has clarified that the ongoing election process within the association will continue as scheduled.
