Hyderabad: With the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) directing a few IAS and IPS officers from Telangana to report to work at Andhra Pradesh, the State to which they were allocated, four IAS officers from Telangana filed separate petitions in the Central Administrative Tribunal on Monday.

An IAS officer from Andhra Pradesh G Srijana also approached the CAT to permit her remain in the State. The CAT is expected to hear their petitions on Tuesday.

The DoPT had issued orders directing 11 IAS and three IPS officers, including Anjani Kumar, Abilasha Bisht and Abhishek Mohanty to report at Andhra Pradesh before Wednesday. All these officers were allocated to Andhra Pradesh after bifurcation in 2014 but a few continued to work in Telangana.

However, with just a day left for the officers to report at Andhra Pradesh, four IAS officers, including Vakati Karuna, A Vani Prasad, Ronald Rose and Amrapali Kata, approached the CAT appealing to permit them to continue working in Telangana.

Meanwhile, a few IAS officers met Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari at Secretariat on Monday. The State government is expected to issue reliving orders, facilitating them to report before the Andhra Pradesh government.
