Telangana IMA condemns assault on pediatrician in Nirmal
The Telangana Indian Medical Association condemned the assault on a pediatrician in Nirmal, urging immediate arrest of culprits and non-bailable warrants.
Nirmal: The Telangana Indian Medical Association (IMA) condemned an assault on a pediatrician from this town and demanded that the government take stern action against perpetrators.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Telangana IMA state president Dr P Kishan expressed serious concern over rising instances of assaults against doctors and unlawful violent behaviour against healthcare institutions. These assaults not only endanger the lives of doctors but also disrupt essential public health services.
The association urged the concerned authorities to take steps to immediately arrest the culprits and ensure non-bailable warrants are issued against the accused persons. It requested the government to strengthen laws and enforcement mechanisms in Telangana to safeguard healthcare workers and institutions against such threats.
