Telangana: Nava Bharat installs RO water plants at three places in Paloncha
Kothagudem MLA, Vanama Venkateshwar Rao along with Nava Bharat Vice President Y Srinivas Murthy inaugurated the water plants and handed over the facilities to the municipality officials on Monday.
Kothagudem: Nava Bharat Ventures Limited (NBVL) has installed reverse osmosis (RO) water plants at Erragunta, Jagguthanda and Sanjay Nagar areas under the limits of Paloncha Municipality in the district.
Kothagudem MLA, Vanama Venkateshwar Rao along with Nava Bharat Vice President Y Srinivas Murthy inaugurated the water plants and handed over the facilities to the municipality officials on Monday.
The MLA appreciated NBVL for its service activities being conducted for the benefit of people in the district. Since its establishment of the company has been at the forefront in serving people and the needy, he said while asking the company to reach out to the remote tribal hamlets.
Nava Bharat Vice President, Murthy informed that the water plants have been installed as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. Each water plant was installed with an expenditure of Rs 12 lakh to ensure supply of safe drinking water for the locals.
The company constructed a building and sank a bore well to ensure continuous water supply for each plant. The municipality would bear the operational costs and look after the maintenance of the plants, he added.
The company DGM, B Rama Rao informed that each plant would process 500 litres water per hour. Dy. Manager (Social Development) M Srinivasa Rao said Nava Bharat has so far installed a total of 20 water plants in Kothagudem, Paloncha, Sujata Nagar and Julurpad mandals.
The MLA also inaugurated modern washrooms constructed with an expenditure of Rs 5 lakh by Nava Bharat Projects Limited, Hyderabad at ZPHS at old Paloncha. The school head master Sudhakar thanked the company for constructing the washrooms.
NBVLGM (Civil) MGM Prasad, Liaison Officer, V Khadarendra Babu, DCMS Vice Chairman K Srinivasa Rao, Paloncha Agriculture Cooperative Society Vice-Chairman, Kampelli Kanakesh, TRS leaders M Raju Goud, M Sriram Murthy and others were present.
