Telangana: Over 66,000 seats allotted in DOST phase II
If any seat allotted candidate is looking for a better choice, he/she can exercise web options in the third phase by sliding, but after self-reporting online

Hyderabad: A total of 66,641 candidates were allotted degree seats in the second phase of degree admissions through the Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST) 2021.
According to a press release issued by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) on Wednesday, 37,237 candidates registered in the second phase admissions and 75,398 students including candidates from the first phase exercised their web options and of them 66,641 were allotted seats.
All candidates who were allotted seats were instructed to reserve the same through self-reporting online by paying Rs 500 or Rs 1,000 as the case may be in the DOST candidate login. Candidates failing to self-report online will forego their allotted seat and his/her registration on the DOST will be automatically cancelled.
If any seat allotted candidate is looking for a better choice, he/she can exercise web options in the third phase by sliding, but after self-reporting online, TSCHE chairman and DOST convener Prof. R Limbadri said.
The registration for the third phase degree admissions with fees of Rs.400 can be done between August 27 to September 15 and web options will be available from August 27 to September 20. Certificate verification for the special category certificates will be held on September 15.
The seat allotment in the third phase admissions will be done on September 24 and online self-reporting should be completed between September 24 and 27.
Students who self-reported online in first, second and third phase admissions should report at their respective colleges between September 24 and 27. There will be an intra-college phase with web options on September 28 and 29 and seats will be allotted on September 30.
The orientation programme for the students in the colleges will be held from September 24 to 30 and the first semester classes will commence from October 1.
