Adilabad: Several parts of erstwhile Adilabad district saw sweltering heatwave conditions on Tuesday.
Bela mandal in Adilabad witnessed the highest maximum temperature at 42.5 degrees C. Bheempur, Talamadugu, Mavala, Adilabad Urban and Neradigonda mandals of Adilabad district registered maximum temperatures around 42 degrees Celsius. Asifabad mandal in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district recorded the highest maximum temperature of 42.3 degrees C.
Kerameri, Wankidi, Sirpur (T), Koutala, Kagaznagar, Bejjur, Penchikalpet, Dahegaon and Koutala mandals experienced somewhere between 41 degrees C and 43 degrees C.
Meanwhile, Ralli village in Hajipur mandal experienced the highest maximum temperature of 43.1 degrees C. Nennal, Bheemini, Kannepalli, Kasipet, Mandamarri, Mancherial, Bheemaram, Chennur, Dandepalli and Luxettipet mandals saw anywhere the maximum temperature between 41 degrees C and 43 degrees C. Narsapur (G) mandal of Nirmal district had the maximum temperature of 42.5 degrees C.
