Hyderabad: Telangana State Police was honoured with an award for excellent capacity building of police agencies in a virtual Data Security Council of India (DSCI) and NASSCOM annual Information Security Summit.
The police got the award under law enforcement agency category. The DSCI and NASSCOM instituted excellence awards for law enforcement agencies to recognise and honour the best State police agency in overall capacity building through workforce development.
The State police trained selected police personnel as cyber warriors to fight against the menace of cybercrimes and posted them in all police stations.
