Hyderabad: Telangana reported 287 Covid-19 infections on Friday, which has taken the cumulative number of Covid infections in Telangana to 7,88,383 while the overall number of fatalities were 4,111, according to the health bulletin.

Out of the 287 positive infections, a total of 85 Covid infections were from areas under GHMC, 28 were from Rangareddy district, 20 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 11 from Hanmakonda, nine from Khammam and six from Nalgonda.

The health department has conducted 35,064 Covid tests on Friday out of which results of 816 samples were awaited. A total of 569 individuals had recovered on Friday with a recovery rate of 99 per cent while the number active infections in Telangana were at 3,810.

So far, the health department has conducted 3,34,71,075 Covid-19 tests in the State out of which 7,88,383 have tested positive, 7,80,462 persons recovered.
