Telangana students put up stellar performance in ICSE, ISC exam results

Girls outperform boys in both the exam results that were announced by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations

Hyderabad: Telangana students recorded an impressive pass percentage in the ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII) exams 2025 results, which were announced by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Wednesday.

As per the CISCE press release, 99.69 percent out of 5,469 Telangana students passed the ICSE exams. Similarly, 885 ISC students recorded a pass percentage of 98.98.


In both ICSE and ISC results, girls have outperformed boys. A total of 2,690 girls secured a pass percentage of 99.74, while 99.64 percent out of 2,779 boys cleared the ICSE exams. All 490 girls who took the ISC exams passed compared to a pass percentage of 97.72 among 395 boys.

Students

Category-wise, 250 SC candidates took the ICSE exams, achieving a pass percentage of 99.60 percent, while all 67 ST candidates who took the exams have passed. Further, 1,359 OBC candidates achieved a pass percentage of 99.71. In the ISC exams, 163 OBC, 27 SC, and five ST candidates secured cent percent results. The State has 48 ICSE and 18 ISC schools.

The ICSE examination was conducted in 67 written subjects of which 20 were Indian languages and 14 were foreign languages and one classical. language. The ISC examination was conducted in 47 written subjects of which 12 were Indian languages and four were foreign languages and two classical languages.

Overall, 99.09 percent out of 2,52,557 students from 2,803 schools across the country who took the ICSE exams passed. Similarly, 99,551 students from 1,460 ISC schools appeared for exams and 99.02 percent passed.
