Suryapet: Thieves broke into a house in Bhagya Nagar Colony (Kudada) in Suryapet and made away with gold and cash on Monday night. According to the police, the house owner Yellaiah of Bhagyangar colony and his family members went to Parvathi Jadala Lingeshwara Swamy temple at Cheruvugattu in Nalgonda district by locking his house at 7 am on Monday.
On returning on Tuesday morning, he found the lock broken. He mentioned in his complaint that five tolas of gold ornaments and Rs one lakh in cash were stolen from his house. The police filed a case and took up investigation.
