Telangana Tourism hosts traditional mango pickle-making workshop in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC), in association with the Telangana Chefs Association, organised a mango pickle-making workshop here on Saturday.
Celebrity chef VahChef Sanjay Thumma conducted a live demonstration on the preparation of authentic Telangana-style mango pickle using traditional recipes, locally sourced mangoes, spices, and preservation techniques practiced for generations. The workshop guided participants through the preparation process and explained the significance of traditional pickling methods in Telangana households.
Participants took part in the hands-on session where they learned the correct spice proportions, mixing techniques, hygiene practices, and storage methods required for preparing authentic mango pickle.
TGTDC Chairman Patal Ramesh Reddy, Special Chief Secretary to Government (Youth Advancement, Tourism & Culture Department) A Vani Prasad, TGTDC MD Gouthami, and Tourism department director Ranjeeth Nayak, among others, participated in the event.
