In the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session – 1 results for paper 1 (BE/BTech) declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA), Majee scored a perfect percentile, standing one among students who secured 100 NTA score. He also stood topper in the State.

Talking about his success mantra, Majee, a Narayana Junior College student, says he dedicated around 12 to 14 hours for preparation. “Chemistry seemed a bit difficult but I took it as a challenge. My college teachers encouraged and supported me. I identified my own errors and rectified them from time to time,” he says.

Instead of social media like many others, Majee relied on chess, table tennis and badminton to chase away the stress and pressure of preparation.

“Right now my entire focus is on preparing for the JEE Main next session. I will appear for the JEE Advanced and pursue Computer Science and Engineering programme from an IIT,” he said.

A total of 14 students in the country secured 100 NTA scores with Andhra Pradesh’s Sai Manogna Guthikonda adjudged as overall topper among the female candidates. The NTA has not declared scores of 39 candidates as they were found indulging in unfair means practices.

The JEE Main session 2 is scheduled to be held between April 1 and 8. The registration process is currently underway.

The last date to register is February 25 (9 pm) and fees can be paid up to 11.50 pm on the same day. After both sessions of JEE Main for paper 1, the rank of the candidates will be released taking into consideration the best of the two scores.
