Telugu woman and daughter from Mancherial killed in US road accident
A woman and her daughter from Mancherial, died in a tragic road accident near Chicago while en route to a housewarming ceremony. The incident has left the local community in mourning, with condolences pouring in for the bereaved family.
Mancherial: A woman and her daughter from Mancherial were killed in a road accident in the United States on Saturday morning.
According to family members, Patha Ramadevi (52), wife of Vignesh, and their younger daughter Tejashwi (32), residents of Reddy Colony in Mancherial, sustained fatal injuries when a truck collided with the car they were travelling in near Chicago.
The duo was on their way to a housewarming ceremony at the home of Ramadevi’s elder daughter at the time of the accident.
Tejashwi and her elder sister had migrated to the US some years ago and settled there, while Ramadevi had recently joined them in the US. The news of the deaths cast a pall of gloom over Reddy Colony, with residents visiting Vignesh, a member of the Arya Vysya community’s Mancherial unit, to offer their condolences.
