Thief drives away businessman’s car stopped outside liquor store in Hyderabad

Thota Prasad tried to stop the thief but the latter sped away

Hyderabad: An unidentified thief drove away a car of a businessman when the latter stopped the vehicle to purchase liquor from a wine store at Punjagutta on Sunday night.

Thota Prasad, a resident of Ameerpet, stopped his MG Hector car, in front of Sandhya Wines Shop located at Begumpet, opposite Green Park Hotel, and got down to purchase liquor.

“When he was purchasing the liquor at the shop, an unidentified person got into the car and drove away the vehicle. Prasad tried to stop the thief but the latter sped away,” said Punjagutta Detective Inspector, B Sravan Kumar.

On a complaint, the police registered a case and investigating.
