Three poachers arrested by forest officials in Asifabad
On a tip off from Bihar officials, the forest vigilance officials and the Rebbena forest officials nabbed the offenders on the national highway at Pulukunta village
Hyderabad: Komram Bheem Asifabad forest officials on Thursday arrested three poachers and seized pangolin scales from their possession, besides a dummy gun and a knife at Pulukunta village in Rebbena mandal.
On a tip off from Bihar officials, the forest vigilance officials and the Rebbena forest officials nabbed the offenders on the national highway at Pulukunta village. The forest officials, under the guise of purchasing the scales, worked out a deal worth Rs.35 lakh and wanted them to come to National Highway on Thursday night. When the offenders arrived at the spot, they were arrested immediately by the officials, said FRO Purnima in a press release.
