Hyderabad: The ghastly bus fire tragedy in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh claimed many young lives, leaving shattered families across several states.

They were travelling on the ill-fated V Kaveri Travels bus, heading to Bengaluru from Hyderabad. The victims include Anusha Reddy (22) and Chandana (23) of Telangana, and Gannamaneni Dhatri (27) of Andhra Pradesh.
Gannamaneni Dhatri, hailing from Pusapadu in the Bapatla district of Andhra Pradesh, had been visiting her uncle in Hyderabad and boarded the bus at JNTU on Thursday night. As the fire started under the front portion of the bus, most of those occupying the front seats, including Dhatri, could not escape.
