Hyderabad: The representatives of Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers (TNGOs) Association on Wednesday urged the State government to facilitate mutual and spouse transfers at the earliest in various departments in Telangana. They also sought the government to resolve issues pertaining to options procedure for seniors and juniors in local cadre transfers taken up as per GO 317.
The TNGOs Association State president Mamilla Rajender, general secretary Rayakanti Pratap and others met Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar at his chambers in BRKR Bhavan and submitted a representation in this regard. On the occasion, they thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for approving payment of three pending dearness allowances to all the government employees.
Rajender informed that during the division of local cadre of employees at district, zonal and multi-zonal levels as per GO 317, certain mistakes were found in terms of the options system followed for allocation of cadres. He urged the government to issue orders at the earliest to rectify these mistakes and allow mutual transfers, spouse transfers, request transfers for special cases and also consider appeals from employees.
Responding positively, the Chief Secretary assured to take up their issues with Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao and issued necessary orders for addressing appeals as well as allow spouse and mutual transfers.
