Relief for Telangana govt employees affected by GO 317: STF chief Saidulu

At a meeting of the Telangana School Teachers Federation in Khammam, State President Devarakonda Saidulu announced that government employees affected by GO 317 would soon be deputed to their native districts. Around 10,000 employees across departments are expected to benefit.

Khammam: Government employees who were affected by GO 317 would soon have relief, said Telangana School Teachers Federation (STF) state president Devarakonda Saidulu.

Speaking at the federation’s meeting chaired by STF district president Gandu Yadagiri here on Tuesday he said that the employees were transferred to other districts after introduction of a zonal system in the allocation of jobs and transfers under 317.

But there were many discrepancies in the transfers. Now the State government has decided to send the employees to native districts on deputation basis. Thus the suffering and uncertainties faced by employees due to the GO for many years would be resolved, Saidulu said.

He thanked the government for coming forward to solve the problem for doing justice to the employees. It was the duty of the government to create an environment where employees could work with their rights, respect and security.

As many as 10,000 employees in various government departments across the State would be benefited with the decision, he said. STF leaders Mansur, Radhakrishna, Pasham Srinivasa Rao, Karimulla, Sudhakar Reddy, Venkanna, Ambati Ravikumar and others were present.
