Traffic advisory issued for NEET‑PG candidates amid NMDC Hyderabad marathon on Aug 30

The Cyberabad Traffic Police has issued an advisory for NEET‑PG candidates as the NMDC Hyderabad Marathon is set to take place on August 30. With major stretches in the region expected to be affected between 5 am and 11.30 am.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory for NEET-PG entrance examination candidates, in view of the 15th edition of the NMDC Hyderabad Marathon scheduled for August 30.

The marathon will be held from 5 am to 11.30 am, with several major roads in the Cyberabad region are expected to be affected.

Police have advised medical aspirants to avoid the marathon routes and plan their journeys well in advance to reach examination centres on time.

Key stretches to be avoided include Cable Bridge–ITC Kohinoor–My Home Abhra–IKEA (Mind Space Rotary)–NCB Junction–Gachibowli flyover–Indira Nagar–IIIT Junction–Gachibowli Stadium–University of Hyderabad Gate No. 2.

The 10K run route will cover NAC main gate, Khanamet junction, Metal Charminar junction, Tech Mahindra, Lemon Tree Hotel, Raidurgam metro station and IKEA underpass, before merging with the main marathon route.

Traffic police urged NEET-PG candidates to leave early, use alternative routes and factor in possible diversions and congestion.
