Tragic end in US for Telangana youth planning to return home for marriage

Karimnagar: A youngster hailing from Huzurabad town and settled in the United States now, met with a tragic end, even as he was planning to return home next month to get married here. Pammidi Nikhil Rao (29) was suffering from high fever and had breathed his last while being treated in a hospital on Monday night, according to information reaching here.

Nikhil Rao, who completed engineering in a private college in Tamil Nadu, migrated to the US six years ago and is working as a software engineer by completing higher studies. He recently got an H-I visa.
According to relatives, Nikhi Rao on Saturday spoke to his father Jaganmohan Rao and informed that he was getting preparations to visit Huzurabad in the month of February. Informing to stay for six months, he asked parents to make arrangements for marriage.
A resident of Vidyanagar, Huzurabad, Nikhi Rao studied primary education in Carmel Convent High School, Elkathurthi, high school education in Ekashila High School, Hanmakonda, and Intermediate in Narayana Junior College, Hyderabad.
After completing B.Tech from SRM Engineering College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, he went to US to pursue MS in a Texas based university in 2015. While pursuing higher studies, he joined a software company and scaled up to a position of team leader of a 25 member team.
As Jaganmohan Rao did not have children, he adopted his brother Sampath Rao’s elder son Nikhi Rao. Native of Bethigal of Veenavanka mandal, the family had migrated to Huzurabad and is staying at Vidhyanagar.
After coming to know about the death of Nikhi Rao, local MLA and Health Minister, Eatala Rajender on Wednesday visited the house of the deceased and consoled the family members.
