Warangal Urban: TRS leader and former director of SAAP Rajanala Srihari, who has been helping the poor and needy during the lockdown period in Warangal city, handed over 25 kg rice bags to 20 leprosy patients here on Friday.
Srihari said leprosy patients, who mainly eke out a living by seeking alms, were hit hard by the lockdown and urged philanthropists to come forward and help the destitutes, poor and other needy sections during the lockdown. “I have been providing some aid to the poor and needy since May 12. I also urge others to help their neighbours and the needy in their localities to help them tide over this crisis,” he added.
