Hyderabad: A case was registered against Telangana Rasthra Students Vedika (TRSV) leaders on charges of attacking Congress party workers near TPCC chief Revanth Reddy’s house at Jubilee Hills on Tuesday.
The case was booked following a complaint made by Purushotham Reddy, personal assistant to the TPCC chief at the Jubilee Hills police station on Wednesday. In his complaint, he alleged that TRSV activists damaged property and attacked Congress party workers. The case was booked under Section 147, 323 and 352 r/w 49 of Indian Penal Code. On Wednesday, Revanth Reddy also went to the police station and met police officials.
On Tuesday, the police had registered another case against the Congress party workers for attacking TRSV workers when they were staging a protest in front of Reddy’s house. One Congress party worker, Naresh, was arrested on Tuesday night.
