Hyderabad: Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) in collaboration with Welfare Department and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan-Telangana and Giftolexia, a startup in the space of learning difficulties, organised a workshop on ‘Innovative and inclusive classroom strategies for children with specific learning difficulties’.
The workshop was attended by about 430 educators and inclusive education resource persons (IERPs) from across Telangana. It focused on early detection, age-appropriate learning, screening, and enabling a learning environment for children using activity-based teaching.
“We at TSIC have been making innovation accessible to children. This workshop is conceived exclusively keeping in mind the needs of children with special needs. With this collaboration, we are aiming to sensitize educators and organisations working in this and to collectively nurture innovation among the uncharted demographics,” said TSIC Chief Innovation Officer Dr Shanta Thoutam.
