Mancherial: Redefining services of State-run Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), its Managing Director VC Sajjanar provided a bus facility to students of a government school in Kotapalli mandal centre by swiftly responding to a tweet by a headmistress of the institution, cheering the pupils on Monday.

The headmistress of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya of Kotapalli, Bharati brought the plight of around 200 girl students to notice of Sajjanar by tagging the twitter handle of the RTC managing director. She shared that the students were struggling to reach their school due to lack of a bus facility from Chennur to Kotapalli in the morning. She posted a video of the students.

Responding to the tweet within no time, Sajjanar instructed the officials of TSRTC to extend the bus facility for the students. Accordingly, a bus service was commenced from Chennur to Kotapalli on Monday, easing problems of the students in reaching their school. Bharathi and students expressed gratitude to the IPS officer for coming to their rescue.

Meanwhile, the photos of the bus service went viral on social media platforms. Users of WhatsApp and Facebook praised Sajjanar for responding to requests of bus services on micro-blogging site. They opined that the IPS officer redefined services of the TSRTC and set an example to other bureaucrats in addressing challenges of the public.
