Hyderabad: The Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TSSPDCL) has issued guidelines for transfer of sub-engineers in engineering services and artisans from grade I to IV during 2021-2022.

As per the guidelines, the transfer of employees who completed three years of service as on June 30, 2021, in the present post during the current year should be taken up.

The total transfers in any cadre should be limited to 50 per cent of the cadre strength of the existing employees, in order of seniority of service. The list of employees to be transferred as per guidelines must be exhibited in division and circle offices by June 29.

The objections on transfers, if any, should be submitted by July 2, 2021. The last date for receipt of request application through proper channel to the transferring authority is July 6. The applications received after July 6 will not be entertained. Transfer orders should be issued on or before July 12.07.2021.

No transfer orders should be issued after July 12 except on disciplinary and vigilance grounds, TSSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director G Raghuma Reddy said. He asked senior officials to complete the process by July 12. He said the employees, who were transferred should be relieved by July 17 by the Heads of Departments (HODs) duly making local arrangements for relief.

Artisans working in corporate office and other corporate units, zonal offices, cable wing, Supervisory Control and Data Application (SCADA) and circle offices in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts apart from those working in rural areas can opt for transfers

Artisans, who are physically-challenged, must be transferred to some other post in the same station. If there is no post to accommodate, the artisan can be retained in the same post. For artisans with mentally challenged children, the choice of work station will be considered to the extent possible to provide specialized health care.

The artisans with chronic disease must be transferred to some other post in the same station. If there is no post to accommodate in the same station, the artisan should be transferred to the nearest workplace to the present work station in the same division or circle.

Women artisans may be transferred to some other post as far as possible in the same station. If there is no post in the same station they may be transferred to the nearest outside station. While effecting transfers, the competent authorities may give preference to married couples working in TSSPDCL and post in the same station.

Artisans whose spouse is working in Central government or State government and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) at the present station may be transferred within the circle or division to the extent possible. If there is no post in the same station they may be transferred to the nearest outside station.

The CMD reserves the right to transfer or retain any artisan at any time on administrative grounds to any place in the company on a case to case basis. Any deviation of instructions while carrying out the process and delay in relieving artisan will be viewed seriously.
