Two electrocuted in Telangana’s Medak district
Woman loses her life while using immersion heater rod, while 10-year-old boy dies on the spot after coming in contact with overhead live wires
Medak: A woman was electrocuted when she was using an immersion heater road, at Papannapet here on Sunday.
Bestha Bhagylakshmi (35), wife of Bhupathi, was drawing a bath for herself when she touched the water despite the heater rod being immersed in it. She got electrocuted and died.
She is survived by two daughters.
In another incident, a 10-year-old boy was electrocuted at Lingasanpally in Havelighanpur mandal on Sunday.
Rithik climbed the roof of his house while playing with his friends when he touched the railing. Since part of the railing was touching live overhead electric lines, he died on the spot.
The incident left the family in a shock. The police have registered a case.
