Khammam: Tamil Nadu police have arrested two persons from Khammam for their alleged link to a cybercrime that took place in the State.
It was stated that the two accused, Tagaram Sreenu and his son Siddharth of V. Venkatayapalem village in Raghunadhapalem mandal, played a key role in a cybercrime committed in Tirunelveli district.
An amount of Rs 15 lakh was said to have been credited into their joint account maintained in a bank in Khammam. Following this, the Tamil Nadu police, with the cooperation of the Raghunadhapalem police, conducted raids in the village and arrested the duo. They were produced before a magistrate in Khammam and later taken to Tamil Nadu. Further details are awaited.
