Two held for black marketing Remdesivir in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Two persons, including a medical student, were caught by the Rachakonda SOT for selling Remdesivir injection in black market on Tuesday. The police seized 6 vials from them.
Acting on a tip off, the team caught P Sankeerth (26) of Shankarpally and P Nemali Kumar (32) of Chandanagar. “They procured the injection from some persons who were selling it at a higher price to needy persons,” the police said. They were handed over to Malkajgiri police for further action.
