Two killed in road accident on NH 65 in Suryapet

The car, which the victims were travelling was proceeding towards Vijayawada from Hyderabad, was crashed into the lorry coming from the opposite direction

Suryapet: Two persons died on the spot when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a lorry at Gunpula Tirualgiri of Chivvemla mandal in Suryapet district on National Highway 65 on Saturday evening.

The car, which was proceeding towards Vijayawada from Hyderabad, was crashed into the lorry coming from the opposite direction. The car driver lost control, hit a road divider and the vehicle came under the lorry between its front and rear tyres.

The police rushed to the spot and tried to bring out the bodies of two persons struck in the car. Even after half-an-hour of effort, they had still not succeeded in retrieving the bodies. Further details are awaited.
