Hyderabad: Citizens can register their civic grievances through Prajavani online and the GHMC app, in addition to submitting them physically during Prajavani sessions, GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan said on Monday.
The Commissioner received grievances during the Prajavani session held at the GHMC headquarters. A total of 147 grievances related to various civic issues were received across different GHMC zonal offices.
At the GHMC head office alone, 65 grievances were registered, of which 28 were related to town planning. The remaining complaints pertained to engineering, sanitation, health, housing, and vigilance.
The Commissioner responded to a petition submitted by residents of Diamond Hills Colony in Gopanpally regarding damaged roads. The residents also reported several road-related issues via the GHMC app, stating that the roads were unusable for walking or vehicular movement.
They further complained that some individuals were misleading them by insisting that grievances must be submitted physically at Prajavani sessions, and not through the GHMC app.
Clarifying the matter, the GHMC Commissioner asserted that grievances submitted both physically and online would be addressed by officials.
