Vijnana Bharati to conduct VVM talent test for class 6 to 11 students

Registration for this online test commenced on August 7 and will close on October 31.

Warangal: Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), in collaboration with Vigyan Prasar, will conduct Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM), a national level talent test, on November 30 or December 05, said Kandala Ramaiah, State coordinator of the programme. In a press note here on Monday, he said that VVM was India’s largest science talent search examination for new India using digital devices.

“VVM, which is an initiative of Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), in collaboration with Vigyan Prasar, and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), is aimed at popularizing science among school students of standard VI to XI conceptualised to identify bright minds with a scientific aptitude from the student community,” he said adding that
the main objective of the VMM is to create interest among students in pure science and educate school children about India’s contributions, from traditional to modern, to the world of science and technology.


“Students from class 6 to 11 studying under CBSE, ICSE and State Boards can appear for the exam in any of the English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, Malayalam, and Assamese languages. Registration for this online test commenced on August 7 and will close on October 31. The fee is Rs 100 and the mode of payment is through payment gateway and online payment only, and DD / Cheque will also be acceptable,” he said and urged the students to visit the website https://www.vvm.org.in for more information and registration.

“To build the confidence of the students and to make the exam user-friendly, mock tests will be conducted regularly. The registered students will get regular notifications regarding the availability of mock exams. On the specified date and time, the student can log in to the Exam App and take the mock test. Mock Tests will begin on November 1, 2021.

Four days before the date of the exam, the student will receive an SMS and Email notification to download the latest App. This download must be done at least three days prior to the exam date. After November 27, the App will be available for download (link will be enabled) for all those appearing in the examination on November 30 or December 5,” Ramaiah added.
