Hyderabad: City-based Vimala Foundation on Sunday has donated vital infrastructure for the overall development of students at Sarvodaya Grama Seva Library and Study Centre, ZPHS, Hanumantha Rao Peta, Narayankhed, Sangareddy district.

The Vimala Foundation, established in the memory of late Dr K Subbaiah and late Dr Y Vimalamma, donated brand new furniture, fans, lights, ranks, educational and personality development books, high-end computers for digital library services for e-learning and even attending Zoom calls, according to senior surgical oncologist and Managing Trustee of Vimala Foundation, Dr K Sreekanth.

“The idea was to ensure children not only have access to modern infrastructure like computers and broadband for online learning but also to ensure there is enough stock of quality books that can impart knowledge on personality development. There was also a need to improve physical infrastructure in the reading room. The focus was to ensure they have adequate infrastructure in the library for overall development,” the senior surgical oncologist from Yashoda Hospitals said.
