Warangal: At least 20 injured as lorry rams into RTC bus near Parkal
The front portions of the bus as well as the lorry were mangled due to the impact of the collision. However, the police said that only eight of them suffered serious injuries.

Warangal Rural: At least 20 passengers sustained injuries, some of them fractures, as an RTC bus which they were going towards Bhupalpally, was rammed by a lorry on the outskirts of Mandharipeta village of Shayampet mandal near Parkal town in the district on Saturday.

The injured have been shifted to Parkal civil hospital and MGM Hospital in Warangal for the treatment. Both driver and conductor of the bus P Ravi and J Ravi Kumar respectively also suffered injuries in the incident. The front portions of the bus as well as the lorry were mangled due to the impact of the collision. However, the police said that only eight of them suffered serious injuries.
It is said that the lorry was also injured. As the bus belonged to Parkal depot, the officials from Parkal visited the spot and launched an investigation besides police investigation into the accident. The bus was going to Bhupalpally from Hanamkonda.
